HVAC & chilled-water circulation
Match the circulation duty and the installation
For an HVAC circulation project, flow and head need to be considered together with the liquid, temperature, pipe arrangement and available space. FOBENG ISG and ISW provide vertical and horizontal configurations to explore against those requirements.

Compare the installation, not just the orientation
| Check | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Flange arrangement | Confirm the actual inlet and discharge positions, sizes and pressure ratings using the proposed dimensional drawing. |
| Space and service access | Allow room for the motor, lifting, maintenance and the actual mounting arrangement. |
| Support and pipe loads | Confirm foundation and pipework requirements with the equipment and system design. |
| Operating point | Use the required flow and head with the actual model curve; orientation does not determine performance. |
Information to prepare for a circulation duty
System conditions
Open or closed circuit, required flow and head, inlet pressure and expected operating range.
Liquid conditions
Water temperature and any glycol or treatment additives, including their concentrations. Compatibility needs configuration-specific confirmation.
Power & operation
Voltage, frequency, operating pattern and any intended speed control. Do not assume the same curve applies at different speeds.
Explore the relevant series
ISG series · ISW series are the primary starting points for this application. The ISG vs ISW guide explains how to review their installation differences without assuming identical flange layouts or interchangeable performance.
Confirm temperature, seal and material limits for the proposed model. High-temperature, hazardous-area or unusual-liquid requirements should be specified at the inquiry stage.
Move from a system brief to a model discussion
Share the mechanical schedule, existing pump nameplate or relevant pipe-layout information if available. Identify which dimensions or interfaces are fixed and which can be changed. If you are replacing a pump, explain the current operating problem as well as the model number.
Use the selection guide for the overall sequence and the RFQ checklist for a structured inquiry.
Discuss your HVAC circulation requirement
Include flow, head, temperature, liquid additives, inlet conditions and electrical supply. The final model is selected against the complete requirement.
